A Few Pictures ....

Just a quick note to publish a couple of pictures. The two of Kyla and Bree were taken by Kelly at Owen's 2nd birthday party March 24. Kyla loves balloons and once she has a grip on them, good luck trying to get them away from her.



Bree is my little cowgirl. She loves wearing cowboy hats and pretending to ride horses.




The last picture is a family portrait that we took after playing outside in the snow at the beginning of March. Please don't pay attention to my hat, it is pretty unbecoming. I had to post it though because it is a rare event to catch all of us together for a picture.

And So It Begins....

May is right around the corner and we have already been having some beautiful weather around here. An eighty degree day in April is wonderful but the fact that it was on a weekend is unprecedented. The kids have really enjoyed being outside after being cooped up all winter. I think their favorite thing in the backyard is to swing. A close second for Kyla is playing in the sandbox. I can tell we will be doing quite a few loads of laundry this summer.



Bree is getting really tall and Kyla is starting to grow a little but is still a peanut. Both of the kids are showing the obstinate and strong willed sides of their personalities lately....much to their parents chagrin....it must come from their father's side of the family. :)

Bree is to the point where she is starting to learn more about reading. Kyla is starting to chatter alot and recognizes her letters and numbers. She also is starting to learn a little about phonics. Both kids have been very healthy, even through the winter season, which is truly a blessing.

Well there is the general update. I am going to make an effort to post regularly (my goal is weekly) but don't get discouraged if there is a longer time frame between entries. Life gets in the way sometimes...
